Are we firm believers in Cord Blood? The truth is we are firm believers in advancing medical knowledge and doing anything that is possible to save a life. Every life is unique and steps should be undertaken by both the government and individual researchers to advance our knowledge. Unfortunately the US government has taken the stance that they will not fund most types of research involved with stem cells. This stance is taken for the most part by political right wing conservatives. No one in politics should have the power to regress medical knowledge or applications.

In the near future stem cells will be both vital and cherished. While our vision for the future may never come, parents now have an option, and that is a start.
